TWSG Case Study: Celebrating a successful client partnership
Reflecting on our journey to date, I’m so proud of our long-standing client relationships and the opportunities we have created for the women in my team seeking flexible work.
In particular, our client journey with Alice Saveneh-Murray and Rachel Waldren, the former co-founders of Murray Waldren Consulting (MWC) demonstrates how The Well-Suited Group can partner and grow with a business at every stage. I was approached by MWC in 2021 when they were looking for EA and business administration support. Their business was growing quickly and while they didn’t need full time support or the stress of an additional head count, they needed someone fast and efficient to help keep matters in order, creating systems and processes, centralising information, and ultimately, freeing them up to focus on their clients.
We were engaged on a monthly retainer for a set number of hours, which we worked flexibly across the week to suit both parties, MWC were headquartered in Melbourne and we supported them remotely from Sydney.
Over time, we increased our support, taking on new responsibilities including, payroll, invoicing, an office relocation, research, coordinating their rebrand and supporting the recruitment of new staff and onboarding. Later in 2022, they launched a new business, AML Ops, and partnered with KordaMentha. The Well-Suited Group played a key role in supporting the admin setup of AML Ops and navigating the complexities of the merger to ensure a smooth transition, earning trust and confidence with key internal stakeholders.
As AML Ops has grown, at every stage, The Well-Suited Group provided Executive Support to the Managing Director and business operations support. Our flexible offering allowed us to manage the workload effectively and scale up when needed and pull in additional resources from the team as required.
Today, AML OPs has reached a significant milestone, moving into the next stage of business with an immediate need for full time support. With mixed emotions, our dedicated Well-Suited Group team member Miriam Strom has accepted a full time Practice Manager role. Miriam has been with us for two years and has been a valuable asset to our team and our clients. We are so proud of Miriam in taking the next step in her career.
At The Well-Suited Group, we nurture the growth of our employees and clients. Miriam’s journey from contracted client support to a full-time in-house employee exemplifies how our strategic support, flexibility and adaptability is valued, making us a trusted business partner. The Well-Suited Group is grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside two great leaders, and the opportunity to contribute to their own business success.
If you have a business on a similar trajectory, why not consider outsourcing your admin needs, our team of highly skilled EA’s have over ten years’ experience, saving you time and money. Not to mentioned, we have the added benefit of being able to scale up and down in line with your business needs and can tap into our expanded team for events and special projects.
